2000 Flushes + 8
That flushing noise that you just heard, or that I heard at least, was the memories of 2008 going right where it should – my local sewer treatment plant. Maybe you can guess that I really didn’t have the greatest year in 2008. I should probably rephrase that. 2008 sucked. Pure and simple.
Why? You really don’t want to know why…just know that it did. Despite ending the year with a huge swirly (literally I stuck my head in and flushed), in retrospect there were some positive moments. Let us rehash those now..in no particular order:
1. I went to Europe/met my nephew. This was a complete package deal since I got to see two people I love almost more than anything in the world, and got to meet one of the coolest kids on the block. I had one of the best times in my life, despite being sick out of my mind (also jet-lagged like crazy). Oh and I want to formally apologize to Ben for eating way to much, and having to puke while we were racing go-karts. My stomach is a sissy.

Pre-pukeage
…but here are Wes and I in Brussels having our first beer. He actually had formula, but I would have gave him some had his father not been there. Sheesh..parents.
2. This appears to be all about babies. Dave and Susie had a baby too – Hailey. (Well Susie did all the real work..) She is completely adorable, and I love her to death. I would have given her beer too, but again that whole parental thing keeps getting in the way. Oh well she is going to love me. Not like she really has a choice in the matter.
3. Yeah this list is getting pretty thin…..but I’m going to include it. I bought an iMac. I already have a Macbook, but I am in love with this thing.
The end. Seriously. That was all I could think of. Goal for 2009: Have at least 5 positive things to say by Dec 31st.
I hope I have more.
